★★★★★ My wife and I randomly decided that a midweek date night was in order, and we were looking for something delicious, unique, and a little romantic. Intero in East Austin completely delivered. Located on East Cesar Chavez, Intero is an intimate, farm-to-table Italian restaurant with an atmosphere that feels elevated without being stuffy. The moment we walked inside, I loved the space. Natural wood, deep rich tones, beautifully chosen furniture, warm lighting, and multiple dining areas give the restaurant an intimate feel despite having a surprising amount of seating. The tables are spaced just right, too—close enough to feel cozy without feeling like you’re having dinner with the people sitting next to you. We made a 5 PM reservation and arrived just as they opened. At that hour, we probably could have walked in without one, but don’t let that fool you. The restaurant filled up quickly, and by the time we left around 6:30, it was bustling. If you’re planning dinner later in the evening or visiting on a weekend, I’d definitely recommend making a reservation. Intero is hands down one of my favorite spots! Every plate is delicious and bursting with flavor. The fresh pasta is incredible, and the food, ambiance, and overall vibes make for such a great experience. You can really taste the quality and care in every dish. Definitely a must-try!

Came here with a group of ten people, one having celiacs disease. The service was phenomenal, they were extremely accommodating to food allergies, and the food was amazing. We were so lucky to have Jeremy as a server, he is exceptional. We tried the potatoes appetizer, lamb tambolli, waygu ny strip, corn bucatini, rigatoni, mushroom pizza, bolognese, and more. Every single dish was perfect. Don’t skip out on the house made chocolate or affogatos. This place is 100% worth a try and I can’t wait to come back.

This restaurant was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had which is saying a lot because it was a walk-in seating, for just myself, on a Tuesday night. Appetizer selections had a lot of variety. The melon salad was refreshing with unique savory flavors to elevate it. The pasta! Omg the pasta. Every bite was the best bite. I opted for the Ragu with rabbit and horseradish and the combination of flavors was incredible. I want horseradish sauce on everything now. They surprised me with a free brown butter cake at the end. I initially said not to worry about it because I was so full but they told me it was not to be missed and they were so so right. It put my entire experience over the edge of incredible and I finished nearly the whole thing. Thank you Interno!

I was so lucky to have Robin as my server. I travel to Austin often and came here based off of a friends recommendation. Everything that I was going to order in my mind, I ended up not ordering and just going with Robin’s recommendations. Thank God I did that because every dish that I ate was absolutely delicious. She’s single-handedly changed my dining experience and made it amazing. Not only is the food made from scratch and sourced from local farms, the ambience is perfect for an intimate dinner. The focaccia with ricotta and the bucatini literally had me scraping my plate. $50 and I had 3 courses, amazing for the quality of food you’re getting. Cannot recommend enough!
